Have you checked into MCT or Panther? Both are comprised of many small owner operator companies that run their own insurance. Hang in there man. There are over 450,000 trucking companies in the US. Someone will take you. I just can't believe that no one will touch you! If what you are saying is true, that stuff happened 20 years ago! I have seen companies that advertise 5 years for DUI's. I don't know, maybe 3 consecutive ones sets off an alarm or something. Like you said though you were a kid, its 20 years later and you are a responsible adult. Then there is the flip side of the coin, in this economy these companies can be a little more picky as to who they hire.

Keep your chin up man! If this is something you absolutely want to do, you will find a way in!

I have an arrest from 26 years ago that resulted in a trial and a not guilty verdict. A company that I applied to asked me about it. Seriously?

I was told and this makes sense to me also, if you get in an accident and say it is not even your fault, the first thing the media will spread all over the news is, the driver had 3 DUI's and not saying when just had 3 and people will react like Kansas then. I think companies are worried about that also. I never give up. Its a shame when you are young that you don't realize the impact these things has on ones life.

Lol. I hear ya. I actually worked "the business end" of a trash truck right out of high school for about a year and a half. I was never in better shape in my life, between all the walking and constant lifting. And your correct in that people toss some really cool stuff. I got an entire box of albums once, all kinds of lamps, furniture, etc. And lets just say I never had a larger collection of skin mags....:biggrin_2559:

You will need to sell yourself.

Another driver trainee on here ( with 3 DUI) was hired by Wiley Sanders.

You can get a job driving,

it's all in your hands !!!

1 DUI I say crap happens sometimes and understand, but three DUI'S????

I say you did not have enough common sense then and should be forced to walk anywhere you go, not surprised places turned you down.
