I'm sure you won't. Assuming you're getting out and looking- it's impossible that you would!

Prime, Maverick and TMC are a few flatbed companies that train out of the gate with new guys. Not that you're entirely new, but according your recent experience; you are.

All three of those companies are good, some folks will say one is better than the other but, in reality I'd say each has strengths and weaknesses that make one another equals.
Prime is considered a total "Newbie" outfit by most guys- I'm not buying it. Prime has a hell of a lot of money to back it's routes, a range of hauls and lots of opportunity. It's not all a scam if you're not a total idiot. In fact, I doubt even the minority of it is a scam.

TMC is service oriented; I get that feeling with TMC that having experience in the military would be a good qualification, not because they like vets, but because they run a tight ship.

With Maverick you get a company that is driver oriented, good equipment and plenty of choices as far as range of hauls go (though you get with with Prime as well.)

All in all, I'm a bit jealous of you. These next few choices you make are going to completely change your life, and in this case- Change is good and can be fun if you let it.

Good luck, keep us updated on your progress.

Thank you and I will, pray for me. I am going to need it. Be safe out there, and keep it between the lines.

Roehl has a flatbed division, they're also a good starter company (I currently work for them) but I drive van. They have home time options 14/7 7/7 7/3 7/4 or national 11 days out min. I don't have too many complaints. Melton truck lines is also a good co from what I've heard. And they will train you right outta school. They are a flat bed co though so if that's what you want they would be somone to check out. Whatever choice you go with narrow it down between a few that work for YOU. And do plenty of research before you sign on with any company! Good luck with whatever you do . I went to TDI in Sanford fl. Great school the instructors were great

i concur with the above but would add that Roehl has lots of van business on the east coast which makes you a good fit for them. Their training program makes THEM a good fit for YOU!

They're an excellent starter company. Get your year in and move on to something better. They're a starter company unless you have a personal reason for staying such as living near a terminal or not needing more money (But you'll figure that out IF you make the year)!
