Good one, Scottied. I worked in the woods, did much the same thing. I admit, it was fun having guys following me around begging for food.

For super quick meals which won't use up your valuable 12v cooler and ice cooler space:
    Canned tuna.
Canned diced tomatoes with cilantro (or hot peppers), on top of plain rice cakes.
    Canned soup.
Cheerios. You can find single serving cow or soy milk boxes which need no refrigeration.
    In my coolers:
Single serving Dannon Coffee Yogurt (the only yogurt I can find that has real sugar, and no artificial flavors or colors).
Ziplock bags with vegetables (I spend a couple hours before each trip washing carrots, broccoli, radishes, etc which I put in sandwich size ziplock bags).
Premade sandwiches (which I also prepare before a trip, although it's only practical to make a few meals this way)

I almost never buy food or drinks on the road. I hit Costco and get stuff. Canned Salmon, Nuts, Fruit, so on and so on. I get Soda and Water, and such as well. Always Healthy but not needed to cook. On my 34 hour reset (i'm always home to reset) I will go out back with a 12 pack, relax and smoke a Turkey or a few chickens all day, brisket is good to take also. Pull all the meat and bag it. GREAT food to keep in the truck. Protein to keep you "full" feeling. I try to steer away from carbs altogether. {well, except for the 12 pack, LOL)

Azcannon and Big Don Thank this.
