A recent grad? Very tough, Some accounts go to 3 mths but I don't think the take grads they don't have trainers
That's what I was told by a recruiter. I read here that jb hunt pays little bit higher than schneider and other carriers on the first year.
im doing intermodal out of elizabeth,nj... to do intermodal must have a year of experience right now im the youngest one and the least experience on the whole hub but the pay is crazy good if you work for it
Most dcs accounts will want a year not all of them though otr or regional was 6 months last time I checked .
Intermodal for phx is 24 months. Surprised me, I have almost 3 years just saying. Trying to get on a DCS account in Phoenix. I loved the pay and benefits when I worked on HD DCS when I worked there I was making more than guys that were there for years. Why? Cause I'm a runner. Jb has all the freight you can handle, but if you are lazy and don't wanna drive much, well obviously you won't make much. It's very simple
Does anyone know if JB Hunt intermodal running out of Chicago area is still busy or has it slowed down? I currently run LTL in WI and we are slow now.
sometimes gets slow but they have a rule atleast on elizabeth,nj... if the dont have work for you they will pay you for 8 hours at 15 dollars per hour which is a bad day if you are running
It'sstill busy in cChicago. Last week I ran 2900 week before 2780 this week look to be 2800ish.ive been doing it a yr now and the money and hometime is great
