The 3406E has different horsepower family's. The jump from your 455 to the 475/550 requires iron changes like steel piston crowns, different injectors, and turbo. Are you doing the labor? Best bet if not doing labor yourself is if you want the warranty is have done thru Cat or TEPS dealer. You pay for the additional warranty. Only nice thing is everything they inspect is covered.

0r8321 piston, 0r8452 camshaft org HP was 475 I'll have to look Tuesday to see what
the arrangement number is. -
The key issue for me is that I am going to rebuild it. So it makes sense to put the stronger kit in it for the HP I want to run. I am not going to spend 15K+ here in Canada just for parts from Cat and then screw myself on the warranty by bumping it up with some random software flash.
