apparently something is not right. here is why i say this. new trucks are only driven till they get to 300-450k miles, then they are transferred to Lease O/O. there is a yard where you can inspect the truck before accepting it. you have the RIGHT to turn the truck down and look for another.

Granted, some trucks are not cared for by company drivers and by the time 400k miles arrive, there are a lot of issues. but, that's why you test drive it, you inspect it closely and make sure that it is road worthy before you sign any papers.

No im not a lease/Owner Op. I am a company driver. but i have heard good and bad from lease drivers. I am a greenhorn who asks a lot of questions. and gets a lot of answers. there is good and bad in every company. CRST has not treated me badly.

Anything to do with CRST is bad news. You have been warned. Malone was good. Especially for OD-15 yrs ago. Now just another bunch of cheese eating rats.

I wish you the best of luck. I left as soon as my 8 months were up because of all the crap they pulled. We lost close to 36 hours a week for trailer repairs. Out of my 8 months, all but 3 trailers had to be repaired. And when we took the tractor in for its pm or repairs it came out worse then when it went in.

Once you're done with your contract, look for another company to drive for. I am at one now that my take home is over double what I would make at CRST and I drive solo!

I wish you the best of luck!

Um, and you know this because some QC message told you so or because you're a recruiter that gets to see these numbers? Also, the only tool you get at CRST is a hammer to use on your head so you knock yourself silly and don't realize just how much the screw you over!

Did I mention that the CRST shop's standard operating procedure is to cut corners, use the crappiest parts they have or can use to get away with and cause more work to be done on the lease trucks.

Best example from when I was there; needed new batteries on my truck, shop foreman asks if I'm company or lease. At the time I was company. I asked him why he asked. His response, because we are suppose to give lease trucks the worse batteries we have and charge them for new ones. Only company trucks get the new batteries.

Yeah, CRST sure helps you succeed.

Let's see, this sounds and looks like a recruiter. Probably is Joseph Gann himself, lol.
