Anyone here has any info on the FXF barn in NJ. They have a few openings for both Road/City Driver. Was thinking of giving them a shot, though I have no experience.

I have every other qualification: forklift cert, trucking school grad, all the endorsements and a recently separated combat vet.

Anyone think I should give the terminal manager a call before/after submitting the application

Thanks for all the input guys

Wanna do the same thing. I'm going to trucking school in October and will graduate with all the endorsements, just don't know if Fedex Freight actually will hire me straight out of school since I won't have any real life experience driving a truck let alone pulling double/triples lol. Hey but let me know what they say if you do give 'em a call.

Does that mean being mostly a dockworker and doing driving part time? How does it work? I saw they had an opening in Oregon which is where I would like to go, but I don't live in that state, could I still apply there?

Not sure but every terminal is different, the guys at my terminal trained full time and went out with a driver on their route! I would call and ask the question about applying from out of state.

Do you think its unlikely they hire out of state applicants? I hope not. Who would I call to find out?

U should call the terminal. I know that we can transfer to different terminals without living there. My friend transferred to California from Maryland.

    Desert_T Thanks this.

Contact the terminal manager or assistant manager.
