They got me in first thing this morning.
It took less than an hour. My company's breakdown service wanted me to wait until May 11.

TTR saves the day yet again. 20230501_070924.jpg

Safelite is normally pretty good I agree. Also look for a local dealer on google/ Sometimes you can find a small shop that is super fast and good. I had a great experience in Montana a few years ago with a local shop.

Safe lite is way overpriced. You guys should shop around.

Can I ask what you paid?
Did you go to them or have them do on site?

Sometimes dealer bodyshops have specials on new window installs. And they can do any make, model. Just have to call around.

I’m not so sure Safelite are way overpriced. The customer is paying for a service those guys are incredibly good at. One can call them today and have their windshield replaced tomorrow. On some vehicles, replacement can be the same day. I don’t know of anyplace that can consistently do that, on ANY vehicle.

Where I used to work in FL, we had a mix of ten trucks. The Latino rock haulers break people’s windshields, all day, everyday. We were probably one every 4-6 weeks, on the I-75 drivers.

It’s just glass not rebuilding engines.

I’m glad that you’re happy with them. I have found the same or better quality completed for much cheaper. Like over 100 to 200 dollars a glass cheaper.

It's not my money, so price is not a consideration. I think it cost $550, they had it done in less than an hour. They are a half mile down the road from the marathon truck stop at exit 104 so I drove to them after staying at the truck stop the night. Nice people.
