Seems decent. I’m looking into a place called Mc Carrier. They are based out of Vegas. Starting is .55 also spoke to a few drivers which have been there over 5 years each. Rumor has it their turnover rate is 12% for this company. Indeed even has 4.9 star rating. But thanks I’ll see what’s up with Crete.

Before you jump ship. Also look ad advancing your abilityss. Just just change jobs haul a different type of trailer than what you used to. More exerpaince will equal more money. Than just a new company will.

All the others replied, and I agree with them. 1099 jobs are only meant for drivers that have issues with their driving record and qualifications. Basically, a reputable company can't hire them. I did 1099 jobs for 6 years, just to clean up my record. I needed time for several misdemeanors and a positive drug test to fall off. It's a check, not the best one, but you do what's necessary to make ends meet. The lone silver lining is this: you are able to keep yourself in a truck, keep your skills fresh, and it's verifiable experience. Since you're in LV, you'll have plenty of options. From their drivers I've had dialogue with, Crete ain't a bad option!

I just want to add this.......The guy you are working for is BREAKING THE LAW!!! You ARE NOT AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR!!! You are an EMPLOYEE!! I would have a conversation with the IRS about this clown. Independent Contractor laws are being broken in this Industry on a daily basis. Get a legit job and turn that aS$hat in. It needs to stop. I'll bet you could get at least half of the money you have paid into Social Security and Medicare reimbursed, and put him out of business. He will also be in hot water with the IRS..... He DESERVES IT!!

Do you want OTR or something more local/regional?
Plenty to choose from in Las Vegas.
    Do you have endorsements?
