I worked 1099 every job I’ve ever had lol. And trucking last 10 years as 1099 yeah. No issues here.

 

You can't hire them. You write a equipment lease under your authority The equipment own is responsible to pay the driver.

Or set up a legal brokerage firm.

This is exactly my question and this post is the closest I've seen to any resemblance of it. I want to dispatch for my husband only though (not others) and I just cannot figure out the route to get there, other than load boards of course. Is there a program/software that dispatchers use, a course, etc? Who do I need to pay to get access to loads that dispatchers do? I consider myself pretty resourceful but this one has me stumped. Were you ever able to find out any info?
