I guess the point of the post was to figure out if what I'm dealing with is run off the mill trucking woes and I need to deal with it, or this is something that I legitimately should be pissed about.
I currently have a bit of an external situation that holds me there. Plus once you get into a groove and you get used to things, you don't want to change, due to the unknown.
I'm also curious how much companies lean on DAC reports....
To answer Chinatown, I don't have a tanker endorsement.

    Mud tire Thanks this.

no need to get pissed with the situation(s)..if you don't like it, move on, or you'll be miserable forever.

Depends on what's on the DAC report. Some companies can see through the BS and it won't affect you.
Give us your state and we'll give you some names of companies, then you'll at least have some comparisons to at least look at.
Don't get in a groove or fake comfort zone with any company. That's what they want in order to hold you hostage.

Clear up your external crap and move on, you are just a number, nothing personal because of it. They don't have dispatchers who run to see what a truck looked like or how ever they assign trucks.

You just ran into an obstacle, we all face them all the time.

It is a bit confusing, you first state that you started this job 3 years ago which I would assume meant you did the mileage thing right from the start, but then you stated that you've been saleried which makes no sense, I didn't think Schneider had salaried positions for hourly or peice meal workers.

And you equate dac with the dot, it isn't about the dot. They can put a lot of things on the dac report that are not trucking related.

I want to say thank you for everyone who responded to this post, it has given me perspective.
This is a situation that is bs, and I am burned out. I do like driving still, but who would guess just driving from point a to point b would include so much nonsense?
A change in situation would be ideal.
