    AFAIK singles are the best. Doubles come off easily, and frequently. Will do damage too.

    Singles in the bad at a truck stop? $175 for 2 tires of singles.

    Got my singles preference from my old mentor. He drove snow plow in Minneapolis.

    Get bungies that are smaller the the inside of your wheel. 4 per wheel. And the octupus bugies may not work very good.
