Red Hot Mess try moving an oversize up and down the hills or passes. 130' and over 200,000.
Miss a shift can ripp a driveline out in a heart beat.. Find you gear and leave it there is my motto...

First multi axle ld. I did was from Toole,Ut to Lodi,Ca. in Nov. going across I80. Guess what it started snowing half way across Nv. Was nervous, but I made it no problem. Slow and steady.

    Red Hot Mess Thanks this.

The west is absolutely beautiful though. All of it, especially NorCal, Oregon, Washington, 90 across Idaho, etc. most beautiful scenery ever.

    My home town....Ely, US 50/US 93....

Easy drive from Ely to Fallon....if you like some steep climbs and never seeing a car for an hour or so in between! They don't call it "the loneliest highway" for nothing!:biggrin_2559:

Yep last fall we ran from Wendover to ely to Tonapah to Fallon to Carson city then up to Reno with wind towers.. Talk about a long ride and 2 days.
Well day and a half. No night running allowed..
