All those lazy drivers got to do is drive as much as possible for 5-6 days to burn hours, then you can be lazy as you want for your reset if that's how you like to do things. I run hard for a few days, then usually have a couple easy going days myself staying right under 70 hours most times.

Does anyone have an idea if swift is hiring east of I-95. I have seen some info online that says they do not but not sure if that's outdated or if that is correct if they might make an exception since i'm only 34 miles from 95.

I have no idea. Why not call and ask? 800-800-2200.

I run through Mo pretty often on 70 or 44, actually spent most of today cutting up US routes to Iowa from OK. There is a terminal in Edwardsville, KS, just outside KC and drop yard in East St Louis.

I'm sure there is no shortage of freight going that way either. Swift pretty much has freight going just about anywhere there is people.

Seattle is one of our major shipping hubs. We have three dedicated accounts within easy reach of Seattle: Target (across Hwy167 from the terminal) Costco (right next door) and Walmart in Grandview. We also have Lowes by Olympia and Michaels in Chehalis. We have Sears and ...some other shipper... in Kent/Renton area... lots of stuff in Seattle area.

If you are looking to get on heavy haul, much of your stuff will likely come out of that Costco. However, if you find yourself on the Walmart dedicated account, you may find yourself at home up to three times per week with once per week practically guaranteed...for your 34.
