The guy that ended up sitting next to me had really long fingernails. He has scraggly hair and an unkept beard. I remember the look an old woman gave him as she walked by, sort of like a “gads, what a scallywag” look. The bus was going from LV to SLC and then back again a few days later.

I swear every little cow poop in the road that bus had to stop and check it out.

The alcohol smell was gone by noon as everyone’s liver took care of that problem. Then there was only the BO left after that.

Sort of reminded me of the guy in Mesquite NV that just walks around the town all day long. Has a really long beard and the hairiest chest I have ever seen in my life. Anyone that spends more than a couple days in that town has seen him walking around.

I wont do greyhound ever again in this life time. The drivers on those buses are miracle workers in ice. The problem is me. Im monitoring the air brakes, engine horses and tire situation all the way down and back. No sleep. UNLESS that stupid driver gets her settled at cruise one rpm...

Anything better than having 50 of your closest friends cough up a lung in the morning and breaking out various vices such as smoking etc. UGH.

Take the greydog. Just once...why? The educational value is incredible. A real eye opener.
Would you believe that the Tijuana tour buses will carry a higher class of people than the greydog? And the megabus is even worse. Twice the idiots. Can you imagine? They’re barely even human.

“So, where’s the educational value at, Six?”

Everyone who’s on that bus is on that bus because of a choice that was made. Some of them are brand new drivers on their way to orientation. On every bus. Can you spot the rookie drivers?

I would rent a car to orientation, then all your options are open. What happens if you quit out with your trainer?

I did say ONCE. He asked, and it would definitely be a learning experience.

You know how you always see these posts about what should be packed and taken to orientation. That depends on whether you take the greydog or not. 30 hours on a greydog and orientation equals a weeks worth of getting shuffled around. 50 percent thought they could, but wont finish the week.

I'm doing this, soon. I'm driving. I'm not going to leave my car there for months. After things work out initially. Going to arrange to bring my car home. Take a plane back. In this case, the plane trip is only 45 minutes. Driving is 6 hours.
I checked on greyhound for this trip. You gotta be kidding! Over a day to get there? The Hound's gotta go clear up to Billings Montana, before going to Denver? Surely you jest!

If things don't work out at first for this top choice of mine. I'll be that much closer to Missouri, for number 2. And the plane flight isn't any more money home, than from Denver. I'll pay, but asking the companies if they can get me a discount on the ticket.

Also, I'll be able to load up my car with the bulk of things I really want on the road. Things I'll put in my truck after training.
