It sounds like Samcraig has done a reasonable amount of research already and is asking a very specific set of questions. Instead of useless off topic posts that are of no help to him, why don't y'all go find somewhere else to troll? Seriously Chinatown, your schtick of throwing out whatever random company name you can pull out of your ### to suggest to anyone who even thinks the name Prime is beyond old. We all get it, just stow it already.

To the OP, I'm sorry I don't have the firsthand knowledge to help you as I don't run tanker. @moose97 is definitely the guy to ask as he is a tanker lease op. I'd suggest shooting him a PM as that would be the most direct route to the answers you are after. Good luck in whatever route you end up pursuing.

    darthanubis and Samcraig Thank this.

Because he hasn't trained anyone since me. His first lease was up when I upgraded and when he came back he didn't want to train anybody.

Yeah, sorry I took so long to see this. I rarely get on this page anymore. I've sent Samcraig a PM, but for you others who are curious, Prime has a dedicated account out of Decatur, IN and Bellevue, OH. We currently are in the "slow season," which lasts from just after Christmas to about March. Currently averaging $930 take home a week before taxes, and was averaging $1300 a week before the slow season. I also go home pretty much every night, as I live 15 min from the Decatur terminal.

We are lease only (and require lease of a lightweight) because the miles wouldn't pay near enough. Would you do a 30 mile run as a company driver? What if as a lease op it paid over $300? That's an extreme example, but it's also a true one (Decatur to Tyson-Mexican in Portland, IN). If you click my profile, you can find my post where I've started a YouTube channel and have several Prime tanker videos - all done on the dedicated account.

Look into Old Dominion if you live in Canton. They are an excellent company.
