Need tips on backing a 40ft Trailer!

    Can't get in there. 40' of trailer is too long. That needs a straight truck. :laughing-guffaw:

    It's very TIGHT! Not a lot of room. I know it can be done cause other drivers do it. I'm just having problems :eek:

    You drive a day cab or full size 379 peter with the nose so far front, the horizon is your nose?

    Go to a heavy haul company n ask to practice backing their single n tandem axle jeeps. That'll teach you to back short trailers lol. Then hook a low boy to the jeep n back the whole combo. Containers will feel like a joke after that.
