need to drive asap

I look at it this way...we keep lowering our standards and soon even the trucking industries "better paying" jobs will be a thing of the past. Just like the everybody wins a trophy garbage. In life there are winners and losers...now that being said the level of education doesn't always equate with either one...but when putting yourself into the job market most really good jobs /positions require at least a high school graduate or equivalent. I'm thinking that the graduate would get the nod 1st since that individual has already shown their commitment to finishing what they start.....To some , if not most employers that makes a huge difference , when the choice of picking an employee out of a group happens.

 

LOL, Pew did a study about a year ago, and 40% of US high schoolers couldn't tell you what direction was North; 1/3rd couldn't name their state's capital.

 

I love the supatrucka scholars in this thread that are like "jeez, omg, no GED!!" "You need to finish, blah blah"

Ya Think? My question is Where and When did it become acceptable to lie? This is 2014 not 1895 where times were way different. The OP goes on a message board asking for a job, "Where will somebody train me?" Did not have the common sense to at least finish High School, now it is who can help me.

Do all the drugs you want, here's how to pass that piss test, education shmeducation, certainly SOMEONE will help you just float along, and there's always government assistance when you don't feel like working, don't bother earning anything, it's better for it to be handed to you. SMDH.

I'd say the major problem is bigotry, lack of progressive thinking, and using arbitrary social boundaries to make less of others.
