I'm a liberal. One of the only ones on here. I'm all about progressive thinking. But I'm all about personal responsibility. Maybe I'm old fashioned but doing the right thing means something.

 

Rightness is a subjective and ever changing concept, but I agree doing the right thing is paramount to a happy life. I've lived it. But so is lending a helping hand and cultivating goodwill/good karma. They don't have to be dichotomous.

 

When politicians and "financial institutions" lied to the tune of $850 billion in executive bonuses...

Scope that documentary I posted. It is a very detailed account of how the 2008 crash happened. Caveat emptor, it is heavily laden w/ financial jargon. I had to spend considerable time on investopedia to understand parts of it...

 

It's nice to see that no matter what forum your on, a troll can start some philosophical debate, and people take right to it like a mouse to cheese...
