    Hi,
I just joined. I've applied at a few places since I left where I was, but haven't heard back from them. Strange. Usually, they can't wait to get you into orientation. Just wondering if there is something funny on my DAC. I applied for a free one and am waiting. I like to pull reefers as long as I don't have to go somewhere, sit for 1/2 a day or more while they make, package, palletize and load the product. JIT freight/merchandise is only JIT for the accountants, and high company officers. It's not JIT for the customer at the store (I've worked in stores many years). Anyway, I like OTR, but will consider other options. Anyone has any ideas, thank you for sending them my way. My biggest problem getting a driving job is that I have a cat I've had for 17 years, and there is NO ONE who can keep him while I'm driving. I can't give him away either. I have 1.5 years driving.

Most companies don't want cats in the truck. If it were me, I wouldn't mention having a cat and let someone or a pet motel care for it until after orientation and you're solo driving.

Where is your location? Maybe someone on here can give you a tip to something near you that won't be so picky about the cat.
