Shane, call our 1800 # speak with Alice. She will answer all of your questions. MILLIS IS NOT PUSHY. You can call and ask questions and they will not keep calling you back to push you into coming here like most companies do. We only take between 6 and 10 per class. So the spots fill up fast. You can inbox me and I can give you my number to answer any questions that you may have. I'm a driver/trainer here. Good luck.

I was asked today about training pay. After the 3 week class, you start getting paid. Millis does not hold a week back during training.

How long can it take direct deposit to go into effect? Since there isn't any holding back at that point.

shane13080 Thanks this.

As far as you thinking Millis is to good to be true, wait until you get in class and other drivers drop in and none of them are there to bi**h. Millis has a lot of drivers that have been with the company many many years and are still happy. Then they start talking about pay they get and your like, Ok this is to good to be true, I asked my instructor (Bill) if he paid all these people to come in and talk good about the company ha ha.

There is always good and bad with everything. You always want the good to outweigh the bad. No smoke and mirrors or magician tricks or illusions. Just good old fashioned honesty and integrity. Treat me how you would want to be treated is all I have ever asked from an employer, period. Don't talk to me like a saleperson and I find out later I bought a lemon.
For anyone looking at this thread, I can say that these drivers and students are experiencing 1st hand something very positive. I have talked to 13 drivers, including 1 over the phone who is a trainer and had a student. I have always with any company talked to the drivers after learner from a bad experience. I always make a judgement call based on the positive and negative responses from these sources. Not one has had a single thing to complain about and if it was, it was so minor, I don't remember. I am 99% positive I want to work for this company if my current situation doesn't work out, which I don't believe it will.
As for my current situation, I am calling their bluff. I had a phone interview that by the end of it, I don't believe it went well. I was basically told if there is further interest, they will call me. I won't waste my time much longer and I will do what I need for my family to give them something thats stable and not a freakin temp. They deserve something more stable than that. If for sure there is no future here, it will be time to move on and belong to something that actually means something.
Sorry about all that guys. I just had to add something, sorta give an update to my situation and get things off my chest. Thanks for your understanding.
