I saw a Prime Inc. truck while leaving work today. First one I've ever seen. I honked - they seemed uninterested in my rusty pickup. After shooting out his tires, I hung out the window and screamed "How's that for work history!?" I laughed loudly as I saw flames in my rear view mirror. Bahahahaha!

    I'm not bitter. :p

my advice to you is dont quit your day job.u stated u were going to be out on the road a year minimum.u are looking in the wrong feild.if you think you gonna gross 50 k the first year you are sadly mistaken.sounds like your heart is in the ministry and not trucking.in my humble opinion you need to seek employment a the church.:biggrin_255:

Well, it's the quality of the training. I have already used the schools gas card for ~$2,500 worth of fuel. I have gone thousands of miles on their equipment. Not to mention they have 6 instructors, nice classrooms, 5 mile drive range, the skidpad (anti-jackknife), etc. The list goes on and on. It's a state school and they are non-profit. They aren't trying to rip people off.

If anything, the company training is the worst. They "finance" your training and own your butt until it's paid off while they are still paying you "training" pay and burning you 70hrs per week. Not something I'd even consider.

I like getting my own school. It puts the cards in my favor. Now, if you don't have the cash up front or have poor credit then I don't know what to tell someone.

Sorry, I don't believe in fairy tales and I find it humorous that people think their life will be okay "because God will lead me there". So, all of the kids that are starving in Africa are in that situation because it's part of God's plan for them? Please.

If any of you have any time watch this video. Goes to show how bogus this crap really is. Pretty interesting.

Why are we picking apart his religious views in this thread? Do they somehow relate to him getting training while not having much money? I'm not a religious man myself, but do somewhat envy those that can have the blind faith, so let's not tear this guy apart for his faith.

You can make 50 out here the 1st year and nothing wrong with ministering out here. Jesus said to go out making disciples not stay in a building doing it. There is a place for everything and God's Word won't return void.

As long as God's word isn't on the CB, I'm happy.
