    i was wondering if you had to have a data plan to run the copilot truck app an an android tablet. thanks mark

    No. There are extra bells and whistles, like traffic, weather, send your location, get updates, text messaging, etc) that work when you have a data plan. Naturally you will have to be connected in some manner to initially download it. But you do not need to be connected once it is installed to navigate. All you need is a compatible device with a GPS receiver/antenna.
