I am needing a couple of OTR solo drivers. We have reefers and 1 contestoga. Veteran owned. 70cpm with a guarantee. We pay every Friday via direct deposit. If you will work, we will take care of you. I’m confused…that phone number shows up on Google as a tree service in Rockford TN and Jonnieman shows up on safersys in Dandridge TN, but the address is an insurance company….

 

I admire your due diligence. The phone number is my number. My late brother owned the tree service and I took over his phone number. The owner also owns an insurance company. Take off J-O-N from the company name and it will be the name of the insurance company.

1) What tractors do you have? Sleeper units? Stick or automatic? How old? What's in the truck? Refrigerators and/or microwaves? Dinette? On-driver dash-cams?
2) Where do you run?
3) I assume you're okay with drivers not needing home time, right? In other words, drivers who live in their trucks.
4) Average weekly miles?
5) Personal conveyance allowed?
6) Forced dispatch?

 

1) Currently, we have Peterbuilt and International. All trucks have sleepers. Both manual and auto. 2014-2021. Truck amenities vary. Exterior camera only.

2) Nothing NE passed PA and no CA. Mostly central to south.

3) Drivers are welcome to stay out as long as they wish.

4) Varies but we have a guarantee.

5) Seems like Uber would be a more practical option.

6) Yes. In house dispatcher who considers driver preferences.

7) 1099 or W2 available. If you want medical insurance, you have to be W2. BCBS $800 ded plan.
