Needing to order Bolts!

    What kinda Bolts should i order? These are mainly for my intake Manifold. Cummins wants like $15 a bolt should i just get 10.9 grade for intake? Would 10.9 be fine for the Doser injector also?

    If you go on cummins quickserve - you can get a service manual for your engine as well as bolt and torque specs.. 10.9 is probably just fine.. Just make sure it is metric threads if getting 10.9 since that is metric bolt

    Yeah thats what i use been comparing prices from dealer to the shop.cummins also. Just can't see paying $15+ for 1 bolt from cummins if a 10.9 will work.

    I wouldnt see the problem with using that on the intake..but i am not a mechanic.. I just replaced motor mount bolts on a 2250 isx and they were all 10.9 bolts..

    Intake, fine

    exhaust, just bite the bullet and pay for the ridiculously overpriced things

    Yeah I already went oem on the exhaust bolts as I'm putting a full tilt exhaust on. $120 just in bolts is stupid lol
