What color is your truck. A lot of what would look good would depend on that. For instance, green lights under a red truck might look too much like Christmas decorations. If your truck is a pearl white, any color would look good. And if your truck looks nice and clean, and lit right, it probably won't draw negative attention from even the d.o.t.

You can get the lights real cheap on Amazon too. I have 8 sections of blue LEDs in my boat that cost about $20 on Amazon. As far as colors you will have to look at the individual state laws for the states you plan on running. Different states have different prohibited colors and some states flat out don't allow the lights.
Blackshack46 and michaelbunt Thank this. -
I've read on here that green is the Dept Homeland Security official vehicle colour and one fella had cut all the wiring out of his air breathers in TN that were lit green.
As far as red and blue go, it varies by state to state. In my jurisdiction, no blue lights whatsoever and no forward facing red (I had red lights in my cab and was pulled over because the "red glow" was construed as forward facing)
Unfortunately it doesn't leave much else, purple and hues of yellow or ambermichaelbunt and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
