3,000 miles a week, that is quite a bit of driving.

I was netting about 800 after taxes at Swift flatbed, but a good majority of the loads are vans. 4 months in and learning how to play the game and I netted 1469 last week. This week it's going to be 216 gross after having one load home for 4 days and a 34 to get the hours to get there.
You can average 2800-3000 miles for swift. Starting pay is .37 plus securement and multiple stop pay etc. bonuses are from 1-5cpm depending on how many miles you safely average on time.coastietruckin' Thanks this. -
Home time was also merely a 34, so not really home time.Friday Thanks this. -
Now, the people that earn less at TMC, do you think its because the company is full of bull, or that they dont hustle? -
First year blows just the way it's is. Hell alot of the really good gigs around here want 3+ years before they even look at you. But the doors will open if you keep your nose clean. I've been a tanker yanker for several years now and love it. Home everyday and gross over 92k this year should be even be even better.
Keithdabarber, UsualSuspect and coastietruckin' Thank this. -
