You did a great job!
I remember driving by the CF terminal north of York, PA one day and seeing it bare-naked empty, quite a shock. Then realised I hadn't seen any of their trucks on the road recently. At the time I was working on railroad stuff, had no idea of trucking company news. Their trucks had been a highway staple all my life, esp the COE Freightliners. As a kid I'd wondered what it would be like to sit up there in one of them, never got a chance to find out.
It's a reminder that things change, even solid-seeming things. Someday people will be looking back at the megas of today like they looked back at PIE and CF (except with no longing for them to return). More LTL's could be gone in coming years, ABF and the YRC crowd are surely candidates for extinction.
Much obliged, and even though you lost out on one ring, I have a feeling that another ring is coming your way soon. :^)

So I got these two nice books today. Beautiful books bought them used for cheap off Amazon.
The Legend of Conway doesn't need its own report because half of it is redundancy from Never Syabd Still. However it's way easier to read then never stand still and has better pictures and is more current. Will use some of its info for the epilogue.Mike_77, HalpinUout, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this.
