The last Cannon truck I remember seeing first hand was in early 2000. While waiting to get into the shop to get some work done at the Flagstaff Az Peterbilt dealership I was parked next to a Cannon tractor that looked as if had been sitting there for a while due to the parking lot dust buildup on the cab and hood. This Cannon International was unique due to the fact that it had a small sleeper (approximately 40"), this was the only Cannon truck I had ever seen with a small sleeper. One of those things that just stuck in my head over the years for some reason.

Mike2633,
Great job on Cannon!
Just curious are you familiar with Carl Subler trucking? They were founded and maintained corporate offices in your state. At one point they were something like the 10th largest truckload carrier of in the US. I guess they were one of those post deregulation success stories that eventually went bust. -
