I thought companies that participate in commerce were required by law to have facilities available. I would not hesitate to bring this up if I was ever denied...

No such law exists. But whizzing on their property is a good way to not ever have to go back.

  4. The only laws they push for facilities (rest rooms). Is handicap accessible access.

Same with gas stations if they have two employees. One must fuel a handicap vehicle for them.

I've been to remote locations and lumber sites with no rest rooms.

So if a Company is private its what ever they want to do or offer.

Public companies are different. Big time

Home Depot. Maybe it's just our area but every one we went to treated the drivers like crap. We tried a multi drop flatbed haul for them and it was a disaster. Each drop had an appointment time but if your first drop held you up...and they almost always did... you were late for all the rest. That led to more delays and more unproductive time for the truck and driver. See the pattern here?
The receivers were mostly young guys and gals, overworked and underpaid, and under pressure by HD to do more with less. Consequently a lot of them were stressed, rude and not at all interested in getting the truck unloaded and on it's way in a short period of time.
We had our trailers hit by forklifts numerous times and if the driver reported the hit to HD he was met with indifference.
We tried sitting down with HD's transportation people to solve some of the problems but their attitude was "if you don't like hauling for us, we'll find somebody else". I had a store manager tell me on the phone, after one of our trucks had been there over two hours to drop off four pallets that "you #### trucking companies think the whole world revolves around you and we have better things to do than to get your truck unloaded". Hmmmm, okay. Noted.
I had drivers starting to make noises about refusing to go on HD hauls and we'd never had that happen before.
I rode along with a couple of drivers on HD deliveries and saw first hand what the problems were. Things were actually worse than I thought.
We don't haul for them any more. Most of the drivers wouldn't buy anything from HD if you paid them to. That includes me.

I am not sure what you mean by "those people". Are they the kind of people one can only see by looking down his/her nose?

Why I don't shop Walmart, I don't like their business practice of coming into a town, pretending to be everyone's best neighbor, meanwhile running the local businesses out by undercutting on everything by importing cheap, low quality crap from China.

Why don't like Home Depot? See Walmart above. A Home Depot came into my town and the locally owned Ace Hardware closed shop within 18 months.

Menards is because I have bought tools from them that just failed. For example, the square fitting on a breaker bar twisted when I used it. It didn't break, it just twisted. Cheap soft steel.

Where I get my hardware is usually from True Value or Mill's Fleet Farm. Regardless the place, the only tools I buy are American made, maybe European, but that's it.

The Avg Americans want EVERYTHING cheap!!..It is in complete contrast to Germany and most European countries..Over there they buy tools to be passed down to generations..

Even Canadians buy the best quality they can afford as up there their life may depend on a product performing..

I try and buy American made products not for quality anymore but to help support American workers..if quality is utmost then I would look for German made products.
