I've reviewed various pros and cons elsewhere on these. Overall, I like the 18 better than the '15 I retired. My '18 (DT12 auto w/ 505 hp Detroit) gets 7.8 spring/summer long term average, running coast to coast, winter was about 7.6, and it out-pulls 75% of the trucks out here with similar heavy loads. Average gross for us is about 75k and we don't run empty far.

Yeah it has a lot of different screens and some customizable screens and parameters as well, depending on the driver's permissions level.

They also forgot to put any HVAC ducts up to the top bunk area. No way a team could sleep simultaneously in the summer. The heat accumulation up there is unreal.

Anybody loving the new double-layer vinyl sleeper separator that sometimes blows up like a balloon when closed (depending on the amount of temp differential between sleeper and ####pit)?

Is it possible to reset the HVAC system while moving? This makes twice now it has gotten stuck in hottest possible temp selection. Cycling all the knobs and buttons while moving does nothing. Stopping and turning off key usually works but who has time for that?

Only thing I can do is control fan speed and turn system off with fan control, and control air position. Regardless, it will only blow extremely hot air.

I have a feeling it’s just an occasional software glitch as opposed to a bad temp selector knob.
