You're only hip if it's square or rectangular.

He's not ordering any sticks any more. All autos. However I'm in one of the remaining fleet sticks but it's a doggy 10 speed (sucks once you have to drop that first gear but strong up until then). Everybody is saying the new autos perform much better on mountain grades. I don't know what I'm going to do. There's maybe another 10-12 months before it's mandatory trade day arrives if I stay in this one for the duration.

Speaking of Volvo's just got this from my dealer, new short hood,Toomanybikes Thanks this.

So the new Volvo's come with a dog, too? I'm not sure I'm ready for that sort of commitment [if they're standard equipment and not optional].
scythe08, WildTiger1990 and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this. -

I thought they did a nice job with it, best thing I like is that styled front bumper,,,,,its stamped steel, so at least it will take some punishment, I've hit bugs with my Cascadias that have broken the bumper, lolLoneCowboy, skellr and Dharok Thank this.

Shorter hood: they said "regional" yens of times and showed few with a sleeper, none of which looked to be OTR comfy. From what little I've been able to notice in which way(a) the trucking industry is pointing- and moving- to I'd say they are ahead of the curve.
I FREELY ADMIT that I am far from knowing enough, it's just what jumped out at me and confirmed where I think the industry is headed. My $0.02 is worth $0.005!Dharok and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this. -
I've driven a 2016 or 2017 Cascadia Evolution and I trust that transmission in the mountains about as far as I can pick it up and throw it.
stick with what you got until they force it on you.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.
