Yes, as stated I will have to switch my license to Washington to get hired.
I have no interest in hiring on with anyone out of Alaska.
I want to run the lower 48..
Determined to go team again.

What sort of feedback did you get from LGT Transport?
-- L -
Not enough RECENT OTR experience.
-
So......to recap....you want to run team...with a company that will hire you out of Washington State.
Also: you'd like to run pretty much all of the lower 48.
But....for the moment....you're being bullied/picked on because your last OTR was over 4 years ago.
Does that basically sound correct?
-- LAlaskaIce Thanks this. -
Yes that’s correct… however I didn’t see it as being bullied… just the industry standards now. I get it.
But I’m a good driver and I know there is still a place for me somewhere.
My record is perfect.. I can drive anything. I am polite, kind and a good runner.
I am not a foofoo queen. I live alone off grid in a cabin in Alaska. I don’t need pampering. I’m just a driver that needs a job. -
You sound like you'd be perfect for the job....you really just need some carrier to give you a chance....
-- LAlaskaIce Thanks this. -
What part (or city) in Washington state do you think you will be domiciled, next?
-- L -
Probably Spokane Washington area. got family in Western Montana as well. Heck I don’t care where I base out of. I’m not interested in time home.
-
I get it than home & home time is not that important to you.
However -- we both know you'll have to put SOMETHING for an address on that shiny new, hot-rod CDL you'll get down here.....
Plus -- some sort of domicile will help target more specific opportunities for you.
You may not care -- but I think some carriers might.....
-- L -
I understand.
