Wow it was not a recommendation. It was an example as I mentioned in a previous I asked if they had ever looked at leasing on with someone.. I look at A & R from a company driving position for myself a while back and so I sent her the O/O information. I would not recommend a company that I have never drove.. She indicated 1.30 was low after I posted that. Also what she actually said was that .90 94.cpm was what she had heard or seen about leasing on with someone and that was low.... As I said it was not a recommendation it was an example.. @Ruthless and taylormade neither 1 of you know anything about me or my background so if you you want to assume I was being sarcastic or I was making a recommendation if you actually read the previous posts you would see that it was merely giving her and her husband some information to look at. So rather than making assumptions and/or accusations towards someone you do not know why not offer some advice or information to this lady and her family..

No offense taken and none intended when I say you have NO idea who I am what I do or don't know or my background. So you nor taylormade407 would have NO idea who or what my experience is.... Why is it that you would take the time to accuse or assume something about someone rather than offer some advice to the OP? BTW so you know I have a MBA and over 25 years experience with logistics, equipment manufacturing, distribution, customs, operations and transportation. NO I have never been an O/O nor would I ever represent that I had.. But I will offer assistance when someone asks when I feel the information can be of some benefit.. No offense intended, you should actually gather some information before you assume anything..

@LucyGoose my apologies if you felt I was being sarcastic or in any way was being disingenuous. My post about A&R was not intended as a recommendation but merely an example.. Best wishes to you and your husband in getting the information or advice that you are looking for and can get back on the road to success.

@Big Papaxx some 0/0's do better with set milage pay such as with A&R because the miles are steady and don't have the headaches of dealing with empty miles on your dime. Some companies such as A&R pay all miles, loaded/empty. Much depends on what the 0/0 is willing to deal with. I'm lazy and don't want the stress of much of anything.
Farm2Fleet may have something also for @LucyGoose

Other social media outlets have groups who "round table" issues such as the one you find your self in, they offer some insight and direction to resources which may help you. Check out "Rate Per Mile Masters" on FB.

Me? A&R doesn't require any endorsements and it's not hazmat. Good benefits & rider policy.
He may not be aware of all that's available.
It's only the second company I know of that also pays deadhead miles. Deadhead pay isn't much but better than doing it on your own dime.

First I want to say wow- i think it's so great when people are so willing to really help others. especially when i was told folks don't really do that!
Well my question is simple (I hope lol) Recently a few members of the family lost their jobs. So I am trying to see if we can start a business, where hopefully us ladies can use our Project management, organizational, and communications skills to help bring money into our homes. I can imagine that many owner operated drivers are very busy trying to focus on driving and may need assistance in tracking, organizing, finding loads, working with brokers for them, maintain the communication between them and brokers, etc - is there a place where we can find information on this or any recommendations?
