New at Smith Transport, please help.

    another ?' for yall,,, on your 34 hour D.O.T reset time do you have to be out of the truck??? or can it be in the sleeper?? and do you just write that down as off duty time or sleeper time.. i told him to just put down off duty time???

    you can take your 34 hr anyplace you want---in truck would be a combo of sleeper time and of duty when you get out to walk around--at home--or anyplace else would just be straight off duty not driving
    looks like he has a good rate ---well a decent rate for unloads with the slading scale for multi drops---that kinda makes up for the first and last being free

    and the zip code paying is fairley routine--some places will pay actual miles -some pay to zip code---its a toss up--some times with the zip you get some free miles sometimes you dont---generally zip areas arnt that large tho are they?
