    Well if you still had the old mattress I would have suggested putting a zip up mattress cover over it and then put a 4 inch memory foam mattress pad from Wal-Mart on top of it. For $88 it's a good price and the best sleep I've had in a very long time.

    My wife spoiled me.She would put a foam pad on top of the exsisting mattress and then a goose down comforter(in the winter flannel sheets) and than another goose down comforter on top.That was the most comfortable bed and I couldn't tell you the money I saved in fuel.

    Do you have a membership to Costco or Sam's? You should be able to pick up a long twin for a reasonable price. Less than $150

    Get this....the original owner installed black light florescent lights in the ceiling of the sleeper. :biggrin_2556: - I did NOT turn them on before removing the mattress and now I have regular cool-white bulbs in there....there are some things black lights show off, that I do NOT need to see!

    The 2nd owner (the one I bought it from) had no idea why the black lights were installed and didn't want to ask either...

    ...thats just creepy :biggrin_25513:

    You don't just have a truck........you have a mobile disco! :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

    I drove a truck one time that had STROBING black lights in the cab and sleeper!
    :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

    Why? Who knows. The kids liked it. I'd turn it on (while wearing a white shirt at night) when kids would look up into the truck and want me to honk.

    For a mattress, check out thebigrigmattress.com. I have a few buddies using them. They lie them so much, they bought them for their houses.

    The price is pretty reasonable, too, from what I understand.

    Texas-Nana Thanks this.
