Do yourself a favor and put down some 2" styrofoam blueboard under your new mattress... keeps the bunk warmer in the winter and it's easier to cool in the summer... no more sleeping on a hot mattress.

Like the stuff they put up on new houses under the siding??

Yep... get a 4X8 sheet from your local home center. It also works great to super insulate your fridge or thermo electric cooler... put some on the floor and along the walls and it greatly increases the cooling capacity... especially on FL's where the exhaust runs right under the bunk.Hanadarko Thanks this.

Thats cool...literally

My A/C line feed runs right along side the exhaust. How stupid is that?
Its not even insulated. I can see that for the return line but not the supply side. So I bought some of that water heater hot water pipe foam (split down the center) and slipped it on and then wire-tied it in place. It's not too close to the exhaust so it hasnt melted and keeps the refrigerant cool on it's long journey....
It even looks like the factory did it. You can't tell.
