Yes, they hire in Alabama & sometimes just depends on if they need drivers at the time or not. Apply with all of them.
Lots of flatbed work near Birmingham, so plenty of flatbed companies will hire you. I recommend tankers first though; that's where the consistant big paychecks are. I pulled hazmat/tankers 48 states and did real well averaging $65K and many tanker drivers do much better.
