ever thought about composite toed boots? not as cold in the winter and offers enough protection against cribbing/blocks that sometimes gets away

I also only wear soft toes and have never been questioned at plants if they are steel toes or not. As long as they are a good leather boot they seem to be fine

Have you taken a look at firemen turnout boots?
I got a feel for them when I was an EMS tech and loved them.
You could stand for 6+ hours fighting fires in them, with water past your ankles in -20 degree weather and be very comfortable in them.
I use them to this day.
You're gonna pay $150 for a nice pair, but you'll only buy a new pair about every three years.
They're tough as nails, fireproof, and warm as a goats ###.Oversizeload Thanks this. -
