I'm a 54 yr old that has been driving truck (18 round one's) for 20+ yrs. All but 5 % has been construction in one state. I've been out of it for 1 1/2 yrs. Now I want to go over the road and man I can not seem to find a place to hire me but a place that says I need to get schooling again.!! Anybody have a answer for me?

    Where is your location?
We can probably find a OTR job for you without the school.

Construction, meaning you drive to job site in a CMV, get out your shovel, 8 hrs later drive back to base. Won't really count for experience.
