    Absolutely! I have been home every weekend. I'm getting ready to leave now for my final week of training in Cuba AL. I will leave Thursday or Friday with my truck, pick up my first load and head home. My driver trainer said that he had never missed a weekend home in his seven years with the company.

    I've never worked for McElroy but from what they say they're very christian based and believe part of that is getting their drivers home on the weekends, sounds like they're living up to their end of the deal.

    No they don't, & if you don't have complete confidence in your driving they are not a great company for student graduates, my husband chose to leave & go get more experience, they would be a good company for experienced drivers but they will tell you they are not there to teach you to drive, they are a great company though just not for students in our opinion

    No they don't. But I disagree with the other post. They have treated me well so far. I had no experience driving and with what I learned in school I've done fine so far. Now my opinion may change if I don't make it through this final week of training but I see no reason I won't. They have been hiring a lot of students recently. There are nine of us here now for final week and they have others in the system as well.

    Finally, the training is over. I left Cuba late this afternonn headed to pick up my first load solo. Then I'm headed home. The delivery is only 50 miles frok the house so I won't have to leave out until Monday morning.
