Sammy Cat I woke up this morning to about 4 inches of snow. Another driver told me that the snow had created major difficulties for truckers...several jack knifed....on evidently killed another motorist. So, I decided to turn off my navigation system...and take the New York State Thruway all the way to Rochester...they keep that highway in good shape. And..am I ever glad I did....holy smoke....it snowed like crazy...very windy..very poor visibility... My wipers kept icing up...so seei g was a major concern. I say 2 tractor trailers off the highway...one on its side...the other down in the ditch.....makes me shudder!!!i

And you're right. I saw I 68 WB in WV come to a crawl because they were hauling the remains of a tractor up the embankment. -
I am such a dope! I got an assignment to take a load from the BJs distribution cntr in Mass to a BJs store in Rochester. I read that they wanted it delivered at 1:30. NATURALLY I assumed it meant 1:30 in the afternoon. I drove through a blinding snowstorm to get here...only to discover they want it at 1:30 AM. So...here I sit..in my cozy truck until 1:30 tomorrow morning. I forgot the industry goes by military time. Note to self get a calendar and a military clock and put them both where you can see it.
Wedge Thanks this. -
Mission accomplished! It was a harrowing trip thru ice and snow. But when I got there, and opened up the door...it was all worth it. Trix and Pedigree ...now Rochester can rest the really important supplies have been delivered.
