THE DUDE 1969......I was kinda lookin at that area up top there where your coax is routed and it looks/feels #### tight..Are you sure your coax is not gettin pinched at all??

Good eye, craig_sez... It does look tight from the picture, but I was able to put the outer plastic on afterwards. I chose the lower part of the hinge so it would be a straight line, and it was luck the coax cooperated in a nice line (for now). The tightness you see is mostly from the grommet, with a few inches to spare inside the cab.

But dang it, now you got me questioning how many beers I had, I'm gonna have to take it back home and check it over again. :D

I tried the lmr ultra flex 400 also . turned out to be a waste of time and $$$. I use r g 213 rated at 2000 watts capability the lmr 400 is rated at 3000 watts. a rig master and a few other toys are used to analyze my equipment. have been told the lmr cable is not really intended for our frequency use. although it's very impressive to look at. the 213 is much easier to work. didn't see a lot of flex in that ultra flex. lol

I think thats what i got the 213 stuff but not yet understanding why my old 18 footer coax #'s are pretty good but when i try the other coax from hard drive my #'s are way different..The more you learn the more issues you find lol..
