When we, an insurance company, make a FMCSA filing we are attesting to the FMCSA that we are providing coverage for all vehicles owned, operated or leased to the named insured.

Just got a quote back from Progressive for $26,000 and it has a higher downpayment so it looks like im going to end up going with my first quote.

I just went here: https://www.progressivecommercial.com/
filled in the information and it came back with 9476.00 for the year. me as the driver (currently working on my cdl)
i seriously doubt i can actually end up with this rate -
definitely not although your state may be cheaper or something. it added a couple thousand when i added my new DOT#, and you have to make sure you bump your coverage to $1m and not 750k. What kind of truck did you put in the quote?

Dang that's pretty good! It shouldnt be that far off. Did you put you had a CDL or no CDL?

I just talked to my process agent and told her what my quote was and her jaw about hit the floor. I'm sure she just hadn't dealt with a new driver in a long time though. She said she will make some calls for me but I don't it will get too much better.
