To become a solo driver for England Trucking, you need to meet the following requirements:

1. Be at least 21 years old (those 23 and under must have a clean driving record).
2. Have a satisfactory work history.
3. Finish all portions of the application.
4. Pass a drug screening.
5. Pass a DOT physical.
6. Provide a current and valid Social Security card (cannot be laminated or copied).
7. Pass a criminal background check.
8. Agree to abide by the company’s ‘No Firearm’ policy.

 

The first weeks and months are the hardest because everything is different, you have to blindly feel around for everything, you have little or no confidence, you have not seen yourself succeed at the new task yet. All inputs are neutral or negative. Almost everyone wanted to quit during the earliest stages. I did. Don't.
