New Century Transportation

No problem, I understand. Just some people on my thread when I worked for Marten seem to be celebrating that I'm leaving them. You know the typical "See? We told you so!" attitude. I keep telling them that Marten did nothing to cause me to quit but of course they want to believe what they believe.

 

Thanks Mushroom. What have you been averaging for miles per week? I was also told they are opening up a terminal in Springfield, MO? You know anything about that?

 

they do not hire out of fla they will only consider you if you run team and they are screwing the team drivers bad.. new century is heading down the same road jevic transportation did... Remember all the people that were at jevic ar enow at new century.. If you like to go to customers and here why there freight is stacked or turned or damaged then work for new century trust me i have first hadn experience with them..

 

mushroom is new there so there going to sugar coat it for a while i have alot of friends that work there and ask him to ask them why 60 drivers quit there last week.. i worked for jevic 11 years till the end the only thing at jevic that was good was the money other then that we had out daily complaints.. trust me he is new there and hasnt seen what the capable of saying or doing if he thinks im bsing i know jerry shield oh piss off mike mcmahn see what happens and try to go to vernon brown for a driver issue. or charles fria.. there is only one decent dispatcher there greg parker.. new century equipment looks good out side but the disgusting drivers that thinks they own the trucks and have no respectruin the equipment.. so mushroom just wait you havent hit a bad load yet or a over load or something that has to be there over nite when you cant make it.. or a guarantee shipment that they make a mint on and give you nothing extra for it.. and wait till you want to get home for the holidays...

 

Is everyone this bitter when they leave a company? Good Lord... anytime someone opens up a thread to tell people how they're doing at a company, there always are several drivers who come on and all they say is how much they were screwed over, how much the company sucks and all that. It seems to me that everyone should just stay home and not drive anymore. Doesn't matter where anyone goes... there's always the ones who come on and say "oh just you wait, you'll get screwed to."

 

i guess mushroom took me wrong i was simply telling him about the dark side of new century i have a ton of friends that work there i wouldnt work there i dont want to do ltl work no more 16 years of it is enough... every company out on the road has bad reasons for not being there.. i was a jevic till the end they werent great but good money and some what of security.. I knew my customers well and did my job well.. thats all im saying mushroom so be fore your a critic to me read between the lines just because life was so grand for you where ever you were doent mean it will be some where else and if i can help a driver see that down the road... so be it...
