Good luck to you @Youngtrucker17 only advice I could say is, check craigslist, call around to all you find. Do not sign a contract. There's many companies that will hire you without a contract. I signed one to a local here in cali, and really regret it. Imo, contracts are a scam to get money from people.

If the contract states that you must pay the company if your fired or you quit before the contract is up, basically for some kind of training, don't do it. I had my cdl prior to hiring on with a company for 15 yrs. I signed because I WANTED to work for that company for a long time. I ended up getting fired. Basically a misinterpretation of communication. There are other companies who would've trained me without a contract. I should've went to them. Contracts aren't worth the hassle, and games.

Go to the T/A off I-95,,talk to a few drivers,,,,a dude like yourself that wants the open roads,,a lot of companies would love that!!!

I know a driver down in Virginia who got himself a job with Walmart. Says it is the best driving job he has had. YMMV.
