Yes they do, every one of them. Do the online applications, then follow up with a phone call.

Do you want to do OTR? LTL carriers offer better pay and better home time. I know for a fact that YRC hires no experience drivers

I say go to any LTL as they currently taking new cdl holders just stay away from yrc as they have become the swift of LTL.

    Good luck

Lol I have no love for YRC either but I'd say they would still be better than most OTR companies, at least in pay and benefits.

I work for Saia LTL, best company I have ever worked for hands down. Yes we have things people complain about but so does every company. Outside of Saia you cant go wrong with Old Dominion Estes is worth a look FedEx freight, UPS freight, ABF, and yes I would put YRC and it's regional companies ( redway, Holland, new Penn) last. But that's just my personal opinion from my research and talking with drivers

Sorry Central Transport would be bottom barrel of the LTL industry

YRC may not be high on my list but make no mistake if you can get on with them and get a year or two with them you can go to any LTL you want. As a new driver you can do a lot worse than YRC. I believe their starting pay is .45cpm and they top out at .58 cpm. I know old Dominion has been hiring straight from driver schools and they are an excellent company. Put in apps every where the more calls you get the more you can learn and your local terminals.
