3 years to comply? It'll take longer than that for them to fix I-40 much less change an entire industry over to electric.

I think it's a great idea. Sometimes the only way to learn is to fail. Let them fall on their faces and watch the residents flee in droves to better states.

I love the idea of 0 emissions. I wouldn't have a problem if the industry completely went 0 emissions. However, it's gotta be affordable, and you gotta get the country ready for it. The country is nowhere close to ready for that change. They're doing it wrong. The should have began with changing the infrastructure to support electric trucks. Then the transition makes more sense. If a full charge is good for 200 or 300 miles, that seems inefficient to me. I like what he said, the industry isn't ready today. This isn't something the country can fast track.
