Not my fault that your information sources keep you so uninformed.

Actually, no they don't. In fact there's only one guy who says dopey stuff like that.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you're pretty sure of that when in fact the Mueller report specifically said that it didn't prove any such thing. But regardless of any of that, it's still no excuse to lie about whether or not there were Russians at the meeting in Trump Tower.

I still want to know how a vaccine protects you against a strain of a virus that did not yet exist when said vaccine was developed.

Could one of our scientists explain that?

They don't always. It depends whether or not the new strain is susceptible to the same antibodies.

Again. How can a vaccine work against something that did not exist?

"Well we're hoping for the best" is the new scientifically accepted principle now?

It doesn't. Science will never trump natural adaptations. Viruses have been around for 3.5 billion years.
Their genetic material is embedded in our own DNA, constituting close to 10% of the human genome

From June 8 to June 14, one third of the Delta variant deaths in the UK occurred in fully vaccinated people. So it’s looking like the batting average is pretty low. Lol

I'm still certain I had it in November of '19. Never did the mask thing. Never stopped trucking. And covered every bit of The U.S.

I remember reading an article several years ago, maybe even decades, that people that got the original AIDS virus, that got treatment ( like Magic Johnson ) lived because the treatments combated the original virus.

The latter strains that had mutated were resistant to almost all the treatments. The people that got that were toast. Untreatable basically.

Not being a scientist, I wonder if this is really that different?

Again. If the new strain is susceptible to the same antibodies as the old strain is, then the vaccine works against it. You see, the new strain evolved from the old strain, and therefore retains most of the same traits.

Nope, not at all. They started working on updating the vaccine until they confirmed that the original vaccine works.
